The Milliner Cotton Conference ‘23 was organized to commorerate the World Cotton Day 2023. The event was an incredible success, bringing together prominent figures from the global cotton industry. Attendees included representatives from various sectors, including brands, academia, farming communities, global auditing bodies, and implementing partners. The conference featured informative panels with experts in the field of cotton and updates on Artistic Milliners’ Cotton Projects. The conference also provided valuable insights from project farmers and cotton pickers on the ground. Artistic Milliners headquartered in Pakistan, is a multinational denim manufacturing powerhouse with a strong focus on automation, innovation, people and the planet. The company has an annual production capacity of 88 million pounds of yarn, 108 million meters of fabric and 30 million garments. We are working on farm projects; Milliner Cotton Initiative (MCI) in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab and Milliner Organic (MO) in Kohlu, Baluchistan. Since 2022 we have held cotton conferences to commemorate the ‘World Cotton Day’, in which we invite all the stakeholders including farmers, ginners, brands, agricultural experts, implementing partners, audit experts and traceability experts.
