The Cotton Pakistan Foundation will mark World Cotton Day 2026 with a stakeholder awareness event in Islamabad, bringing together representatives from across Pakistan’s cotton and textile value chain.
The event is expected to include participants from research institutions, seed companies, farming communities, ginning, spinning, policymaking, and the wider textile industry, creating a forum for discussion around the future of cotton in Pakistan.
Cotton Pakistan Foundation is an independent, industry-led platform working to support the revival of Pakistan’s cotton sector through quality improvement, advanced crop advisory, seed research and development, sustainability, traceability, modern ginning, and market-led value chain development.
The World Cotton Day event will provide an opportunity to raise awareness of cotton’s importance to Pakistan’s economy and rural communities while encouraging greater cooperation across the sector.
By bringing together stakeholders from production, research, processing, policy, and industry, the event reflects the spirit of “Cotton for Good” and the importance of partnership in building a stronger, more competitive, and more sustainable cotton value chain.
